About Us

Youthreach aims to develop the core skills needed for further learning, in a safe person centred environment and thereby prepare young people to progress to further education/training or to employment.
You can apply for Youthreach if you:

  • Are aged between 15 and 20?
  • Have you left school early and need more qualifications?
  • Youthreach provides participants with:

  • A second chance to gain education and training
  • A chance to develop new skills
  • A chance to gain national certification and progress to further education and training
  • Guidance support and counselling

To provide an holistic education, we provide learning opportunities in a formal classroom setting, but also outside the classroom. Events such as industrial exhibitions, art exhibitions, hair and beauty shows are all very informative and worthwhile. Our sporting activities include indoor soccer, gaelic football, swimming, horseriding, bowling, kayaking, archery, rockclimbing and walking. Both our male and female soccer teams were Youthreach All Ireland Indoor Soccer Champions. Each year we organise a foreign trip to a major European city. A savings club is in place and trainees going on a trip abroad can pay in to it on a weekly basis to help fund their trip.

Learning experiences outside the classrooms are what we can all remember.
